Every keyword here was run through Google Keyword Planner with the country and language set explicitly, and carries the top-of-page bid range Google returned.
This page used to carry 100 modelled estimates for Europe. Those are gone. In their place are 1,915 keywords with real bid ranges from Google, across 10 markets, in USD. A further 482 came back with no bid data — they are included and marked, because an empty row is a finding, not a gap.
The old estimates were wrong more often than right: of the 63 that could be checked, 49 were too high and 14 too low. 31 modelled rows survive, flagged, because they are EU regulatory terms — DORA, the AI Act, CSRD, Peppol — that no country list covered. Their figures stay in EUR and are excluded from every number here.

The bid column holds the whole range Google returned, low to high: the cheap end is a smaller city at a quiet hour, the dear end is a major metro at peak.
The gap between the two is the signal. wrongful death attorney dallas runs $418–$552 — even the cheapest placement costs $418, so that is a settled market price. penetration testing canada runs $7.87–$625: the usual click is eight dollars and one advertiser went mad. Same ceiling, opposite meaning.
Colour bands the ceiling — under $20, $20–50, $50–150, above. The bar is a log scale, so each tick is ten times the last; read the number and use the bar for shape.
Germany has 84 million people and France 68 million. Australia has 27 million — and five times the ceiling.
The driver is not population or income, it is whether lawyers may bid freely. In Germany fees are fixed by statute, and French lawyers could not advertise at all until 2014. So avocat droit du travail takes 50,000 searches a month at $3.43, while medical negligence lawyer in Australia takes 5,000 at $321.
Every market above $100 is an English-language one with a deregulated claims industry.
Google returns no bid range for 482 of these keywords, and the blanks cluster hard: rehab, bankruptcy, IVF, cannabis, mesothelioma, medical negligence.
Those are the most valuable terms in several markets, not the least. The UK median of $17 is understated for exactly this reason — medical negligence claim, Britain's dearest legal term, comes back blank.
Norway is the extreme case: 100 of 200 rows empty, because 5.4 million people do not generate enough search volume for Google to report a range.
Every export used the same three settings except two. The UK pull covers September 2026 alone, and Norway covers two years rather than one.
Ranking within either market is sound, because every row in it shares the same settings. Lining their numbers up against the other eight is not. Both are flagged on each row above.
A low competition index means few advertisers bid, not that the page is easy to rank. Check the results page before you believe it.
Forex, CFD, crypto, gambling and consumer debt advice all price above most of this list, and all sit behind Google Ads certification or an outright country ban. A high CPC you are not allowed to bid on is not an opportunity.
In Germany, France, the Netherlands and Norway the expensive keyword is the native-language one. The first UK pull proved it the hard way: run against a US location by mistake, solar panels cost uk returned 50 searches a month. Americans do not type "uk".
